Managing three offices in South Africa, Mr. Cyril Mthiyane is the sole director of Civtech Engineers (Pty) Ltd, Civtech is also steered by an advisory board of retired industry experts in the fields of governance, engineering, and business. Cyril has a bachelor’s in civil engineering and is enrolled at the University of Witwatersrand Johannesburg to pursue a master’s in engineering. He is a professionally registered engineering technologist (Pr Tech) with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) and is also professionally registered in the South African Council for the Project and Construction Management and Professions (Pr CPM) (SACPCMP).

Cyril has over 20 years of expertise with water infrastructure, 16+ years in building and construction, 15+ years in roads and 10+ years in the creation of affordable and private housing. He is a project manager with more than 19 years of managerial, engineering, construction, planning, research, and business expertise. He has experience working for and with local governments, government agencies, and water utility companies. Mr Mthiyane has managed over 3.8 billion rands worth of projects, ranging from dams, water infrastructure, urban and rural road networks, housing, retail shopping centres, sanitation, schools etc.
